Smokpub has a diameter of 3.6 inches (92mm) and works with glasses smaller than that size.
What kind of materials can I use?
We recommend using fine wood chips and suggest avoiding pellet wood chips. You can also experiment with spices and herbs, but steer clear of items like dried fruits that could clog the device.

Product Maintenance and Usage
How do I clean Smokpub? Is it waterproof?
Use a damp cloth to wipe the top section, keeping water away from the electronic components. The bottom part, including the metal mesh, can be rinsed. Smokpub itself is not waterproof. We recommend cleaning it after every use to avoid blockages. If the bottom cover isn’t cleaned regularly, it could clog, causing high internal heat and potential deformation.
Do I need butane or other accessories for Smokpub?
No, Smokpub features an electric ignition system, so there’s no need for butane or additional accessories.
Does Smokpub get hot while in use?
The internal combustion area gets hot, but the exterior stays cool to the touch.
How many drinks can I smoke on a single charge?
A full charge provides about 140 ignitions. Assuming you need two ignitions per drink, that’s enough to smoke roughly 70 drinks.
How long does it take to smoke a cocktail? Does it shut off automatically?
It only takes 19 seconds to infuse a cocktail with smoky flavor. Smokpub will pause automatically after the cycle and shut off completely if unused for one minute.

Wood Chips and Smoking
How many uses will I get from one box of wood chips?
One box of wood chips provides around 12–25 uses, depending on how much you use each time. You can reuse the chips until they’re fully burned, usually lasting 6–8 uses per batch.
How long can wood chips be stored?
Wood chips can be stored for up to one year. Once opened, it’s best to use them within a month to prevent moisture or spoilage.
Travel and TSA Regulations
Can Smokpub go in my carry-on? Does it meet TSA regulations?
While lithium batteries are generally allowed in carry-ons, Smokpub’s internal flame device makes it safer to pack in checked luggage.
